Miss Parker confronts her father with the DSA of Raines sending her twin brother, alive, to NuGenesis at birth. Mr. Parker acts as though he didn't know.

While Sydney tries to find out where Raines' sweepers took Davy Simpkins, Angelo continues to become more like "Timmy." He remembers being taken to "Angel Manor," and Sydney calls to tell Jarod that he found out that The Centre's safe house is in Charleston, South Carolina. Jarod now has all the information he needs to save Davy. He and Timmy go to Angel Manor. Out front, Timmy creates a diversion, while Jarod sneaks inside and takes Davy.

Jarod calls Sydney and tells him that Davy has been subjected to Raines' neural receptors and has been unresponsive for hours. Sydney tells Jarod that he has three hours, or less, to synthesize a treatment for Davy, like the one he made for Angelo. Sydney tells Jarod that there is something else that he should know -- and he tells Jarod that he and Miss Parker might be brother and sister.

While Jarod is finishing up Davy's serum in the records lab, Miss Parker arrives at NuGenesis and finds Jarod's office. She sees the number for the Oakview Lodge and calls it. Jarod thanks the custodian for his help in getting him into a lab to make the serum and is walking through the lobby at NuGenesis, toward the door, when he is confronted by Dr. DeWitt and Gar. The custodian pulls a gun and holds Gar at bay long enough for Jarod to get out, but shifts his gaze for a moment and Gar shoots him.

Jarod arrives at the cottage and runs inside, telling Timmy that he has the serum for Davy. Out of the shadows, Miss Parker walks toward Jarod, gun drawn. Jarod tells Miss Parker that there are eight red files, each relating to one of the children that The Centre isolated as a potential Pretender. He tells her that there were seven children that Catherine Parker tried to save and the eighth file is on her.

Jarod tells Miss Parker that he's narrowed the identity of her fraternal twin down to two files -- one of the files belongs to Timmy and the other belongs to Mr. Lyle. Jarod tells Miss Parker that Mr. Raines has already gotten to Davy and his only hope is the Serotonin that Jarod holds in his hand. If he doesn't give Davy his injection now, his condition will become irreversible. Miss Parker takes the Serotonin from Jarod. Timmy tells her that Catherine Parker died trying to save children like Davy. Finally, Miss Parker says, "Do it," and begins to hand Jarod the vial with the Serotonin in it. However, she is standing with her back to the front door and Louis, who heard Miss Parker's warning gunshot, walks in. The door hits Miss Parker and she drops the vial. It smashes on the floor.

In spite of the fact that it will mean that Timmy will revert, permanently, to the way that he was before, he insists that Jarod use his last treatment to save Davy. As Jarod prepares the injection for Davy, Timmy goes to the piano and plays "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," perfectly and beautifully, for what he knows will be the last time in his life. Miss Parker sheds a single tear.

Louis gives Jarod a picture of his mother, standing on the porch of the cottage. He says that he remembers Jarod's dad taking it. Louis doesn't know whether or not Jarod was adopted.

Miss Parker tells Timmy that she knows he doesn't have much time, but she wants to know if he remembers anything that could tell her who killed her mother. Timmy tells her that he saw a man in a dark suit, but he doesn't know who it was. He says, "Fenigor knows." Timmy tries to play "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," one more time for Miss Parker, but it's all gone... and so is Timmy. To Angelo, Miss Parker says, "That was beautiful."

Jarod tells Miss Parker that Davy is okay to travel now and they have to move. Miss Parker tells Jarod that she can't let him leave. Jarod asks her if this is what her mother would have done. While Miss Parker thinks it over, Gar and Raines' other sweepers burst in, guns drawn and tell Jarod that it's time to go home.

As Miss Parker, Gar, Willie and the other sweepers are heading toward the plane that will take them back to The Centre, Angelo stabs Willie in the leg. Willie staggers backwards and falls down on top of Miss Parker. Jarod knocks Gar down, grabs Davy and runs for the plane. He kicks the last sweeper out of the way, and gets inside the plane with Davy. Miss Parker gets up and levels her gun at Jarod, screaming for him to stop. Angelo stands between Miss Parker and Jarod, saying "Save Davy." Miss Parker pushes Angelo out of the way, but it's too late - Jarod is already taking off.

Jarod gives Davy to the Brewsters, along with a manila envelope full of money. Mr. Brewster doesn't want to take the money, but Jarod tells him that he's going to need it -- it takes a lot of money to start a whole new life. Mr. Brewster agrees and Davy finally has two parents who love him.

After Mr. Parker gets the news that his son is alive, he leaves his office. Miss Parker looks down at his desk and sees red files. She takes them. Dr. DeWitt, from NuGenesis is helping Mr. Raines with Davy's neural pathway stimulation. Broots tells Sydney that the ten-digit number under the expediter is the same on all seven files -- it belongs to Mr. Fenigor. Fenigor tells Sydney that there are more computer files in the Inception Room on SL-27 and that there are answers in the eighth red file. Broots finds the blue box that has the computer files in it and is able to access the information. He tells Sydney that there is information on all seven red files, plus the eighth - just as Fenigor said. Sydney blames himself for Raines reactivating SL-27, because he thinks that he should have put a stop to it years ago. To stop it now, he plants a bomb by the pneumatic tubes on SL-27.

Sydney tells Broots and Miss Parker that Angelo's regression is complete, and irreversible. Mr. Fenigor tells Miss Parker and Jarod that it was a man in a dark suit who killed Catherine Parker. Miss Parker wants to know who the man in the dark suit is and Fenigor tells her that the man who killed her mother is Jarod's father. Stunned and horrified, Jarod he runs away. Miss Parker follows, shooting everything in sight as she does. They end up on SL-27, triggering security alarms all over The Centre. Sydney and Broots hurry to SL-27 because Sydney wants to warn Jarod away from the bomb. Mr. Parker, Mr. Raines and Willie go to SL-27, where Mr. Parker congratulates his "angel" on a job well done. As the timer on the bomb ticks to zero, Sydney yells for Jarod to get out! Then Sydney says, "Forgive me," and there's a horrific blast from the other end of SL-27. No one moves. As the explosion spreads through the pneumatic tubes, door after door is blown outward, into the hallway. Still, no one moves. Finally, the explosion reaches the point where Jarod, Miss Parker, Sydney, Broots, Mr. Parker, Mr. Raines and Willie the sweeper are all standing, races past, and dies away. There is nothing left in the corridor but the overhead lights, swaying slightly from the force of what just happened ... as the screen fades to black.
